Michel is a Founding Partner of Global Transcend and heads its Technology & Partnership Networks. Prior to Global Transcend, Michel Haddad was Director at National Instruments between 2004 and 2019, where he established and managed National Instruments’ business in the MEA region, set growth strategies and business plans, developed National Instruments’ ecosystem of system integration, solutions partners and distribution network across Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEIA). Before joining National Instruments’ International Sales and Marketing department, Michel was Section Manager in its R&D team, where he led a team of engineers to develop a series of products and product lines based on flexible architectures that enabled NI to quickly deliver state of the art products to the market and as such improving NI’s competitive position.
Michel holds a MS in Electric Engineering & Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University. He is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
Tarek Sadi
Tarek is a Founding Partner of Global Transcend and heads Strategic Relationships & Finance. Tarek Sadi has over 25 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Direct Investments, and Entrepreneurship primarily in TMT across MENA, Europe, and Latin America. He sits on the investment committees of and is advisor to VC and family offices in the Middle East. He has raised three VC funds that have achieved double digit IRR through his career. Tarek is also the founder of Endeavor Lebanon which he ran for seven years and currently serves on its Board. Before moving to the Middle East, Tarek was a partner at Access Media Advisory, a London-based merchant bank, and prior to that, he was part of Merrill Lynch’s Media Corporate Finance team in London. He started his career with TV Azteca in Mexico where he worked in the Corporate Finance, International Expansion and New Business Development. While in Mexico, he co-founded and successfully exited two ventures.
Tarek holds a BS in Political Science & Economics from Georgetown University in Washington DC, and an MBA from London Business School. He is also a Kauffman Fellow and is fluent in English, Arabic, French, and Spanish.
Elie Chaccour
Elie is the Regional Sales Manager at Global Transcend. He brings more than 11 years of experience in Business Development and Digital Transformation spanning across several functions including Sales, Channel Management, Business Development, and Product Development. Prior to Global Transcend, Elie Chaccour was a Global Channel Account Manager at NCR Corporation, a Fortune 500 US company, where he hired and managed channel partners, led market share growth, and optimized the sales cycle in more than 30 countries in Africa. Elie also held the position of MEA Business Development Director at MEP-Partners Group – a Lebanese group active in the digital transformation of financial institutions, smart cities, and e-governments, as well as industrial and commercial applications of renewable energy – where he was in charge of Product Development, Business Development and Channel Management.
Elie is an Electrical Engineer from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon. He is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
